Miranda Volpe is a film and theater actor and educator. She returned to professional acting in late 2020 after working as an English and filmmaking teacher, theater director and arts administrator, and raising three children. Over the past three years, Miranda has been featured in numerous independent films playing business executives, mothers, educators, and women searching for a new midlife identity. Her recent theater work includes a streaming production of Arizona, by Juan Carlos Rubio Cruz, The Vagina Monologues, and ongoing development of The One Who, a devised piece with ARTFARM in Middletown, CT. She also works as a writing coach, helping to support developing young writers. Miranda holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a Masters in Liberal Studies with an additional writing certificate from Wesleyan University.
